AEB-L

Stainless blade steel

This steel is hot rolled and annealed and ready to be ground or forged.

Manufactured in Germany to a constant recipe to ensure a consistent high quality steel.  

AEB-L has commonly been used for manufacturing razor blades and is sometimes considered to be a stainless steel version of 52100.  This is a great steel for kitchen knives, hunting knives etc.
