Sterling Silver. Comes in hatchet or tulip blade version, measures about 2 1/4 inches long by 1 inch wide, plus 1 inch diameter nickel plated split ring for your keys. Thickness of the blade is a heavy gauge (2mm thick) so you'll have no problems with it being sharp, nor flimsy, nor catchy, under normal use. 

Hatchet is also available in stainless steel.
